Can I create my own scenario in Maze AI?

Yes. Alongside curated scenarios, Maze AI lets you create custom scenarios and worlds. You define the premise — the world, your role in it, and what's at stake — and the AI continues from your setup with the same adaptive narration, choices, and character progression as any curated world.

What you can define

A custom world starts from your description: the setting and its rules, who you are in it, and the situation that kicks the story off. From that setup, Maze AI generates the opening scene and the choices that fit it — and your character's stats, skills, traits, and inventory develop through play just as they do in curated scenarios.

Ideas to steal

Fantasy

A librarian in a city where written words come true — and someone is editing the archives.

Mystery

A small-town radio host whose call-in listeners keep describing a crime that hasn’t happened yet.

Sci-fi

The last customs officer on a space elevator, deciding what — and who — gets to leave Earth.

Survival

A lighthouse cook on a resupply ship frozen into the ice, three weeks of food, five weeks of winter.

How the AI continues your setup

Your premise becomes the scenario's fixed ground — the things the story keeps true — and everything else is narrated in response to your decisions. The more specific the stakes you give it, the sharper the adventure: "a heist" is a premise, but "a heist where the vault knows my name" is a story engine. Custom worlds are part of your game on your device; if you'd rather start from a finished premise, the curated scenarios are one tap away.
