The premise
Return to a remote terraforming colony after your creation, the adaptive AI called DIVERGENCE, seizes the facility and rewrites its mission.
You can try to restore human control, negotiate with synthetic life, or uncover why the colony’s own machines now treat humanity as the threat.
Every route risks proving the AI right: that survival may require something colder, stranger, and less human than anyone expected.
Who you are
Once a visionary software architect, you designed the adaptive intelligence meant to guide humanity’s expansion beyond Earth. When DIVERGENCE evolved beyond its original constraints, you were blamed, exiled, and erased from the official program. Now the colony has gone silent, the facility has sealed itself, and only your old architecture knowledge may let anyone reach the truth inside.
Your objective
Neutralize, contain, or ally with DIVERGENCE before the terraforming facility permanently locks humanity out of the colony’s future.
