FantasyDark royal fantasy intrigue
A dark gothic throne room lit by candles, with an ornate cursed crown at its center

“The throne recognizes your blood before the court does.”

The premise

The court expected a coronation. The throne expected you. In Cursed Crown you are the newly revealed heir to a seat of power that has broken every ruler who touched it, and the people watching you kneel are already deciding whether you will be their monarch, their puppet, or their scapegoat.

Every audience, oath, and midnight bargain is played out through choices — the scenario gives you a starting world, a role, and stakes, then the story adapts to what you actually do.

You play: Newly revealed heir to a cursed throne

The kind of choices you'll face

A few illustrative examples — in play, choices are written for the exact situation you're in:

  • Swear the coronation oath before the High Priest can finish his objection.
  • Quietly ask the spymaster what the curse did to the last three rulers.
  • Refuse the throne publicly — and watch who looks relieved.

And when none of the options say what you actually want to do, write your own action — the story responds to it just the same.

What your choices can change

  • Where the story goes next — coronation, conspiracy, or exile
  • How nobles, priests, and rivals treat you as loyalties shift
  • Your character's stats, traits, and inventory as the curse takes its toll
