Echoing Walls

“The asylum walls answer when you touch them, and every echo seems to know why you were locked inside.”
The premise
Wake inside a ruined asylum where secret experiments have bent memory, fear, and reality into the same cold corridor. The doors are locked, the staff are gone, and the walls repeat things no one alive should know.
You play the whistleblower who tried to expose what happened here. To escape, you must decide which visions are warnings, which people are traps, and how much of your own mind you can afford to spend on the truth.
Who you are
You warned the authorities about secret experiments inside the asylum, but your evidence vanished and your claims were dismissed as paranoia. Now you have woken inside the institution you tried to expose, with gaps in your memory, a patient band around your wrist, and the terrible suspicion that someone wanted you to see what the walls remember.
Your objective
Uncover the hidden experiment beneath the asylum and escape before the hallucinations, patients, or remaining staff turn your mind against you.
The kind of choices you'll face
A few illustrative examples — in play, choices are written for the exact situation you're in:
- Touch the padded walls to test whether the whispers are real.
- Peek through the half-open door before the footsteps arrive.
- Force yourself to remember how you were brought here.
And when none of the options say what you actually want to do, write your own action — the story responds to it just the same.
