CyberpunkCyberpunk vault heist with betrayal pressure
Cover art for the Maze AI scenario Neon Job

“The vault opens in ninety seconds, and your client just changed the job.”

The premise

Helix Meridian's private vault is supposed to open for ninety quiet seconds, just long enough for you to pull one file and disappear into the rain-lit city below.

Then your fixer changes the target mid-run, the building wakes up early, and the vault shows a second file with your crew's debt marker stamped across it. Someone knew you would come. Someone paid extra to make sure you had to choose.

Steal the job, protect your crew, and get out before the tower turns every camera, drone, and locked door into a weapon against you.

Who you are

You are a street operative with a clean entry record, a dirty contact list, and one rule: never take a job where the client refuses to say what is inside the vault. Tonight you broke that rule because the payout could erase your crew's debt.

Your objective

Extract from Helix Meridian's private vault with proof, payment, and your crew alive before the building seals every exit.

The kind of choices you'll face

A few illustrative examples — in play, choices are written for the exact situation you're in:

  • Follow Mira's changed instructions and grab the black folder.
  • Ignore the change and ghost through security by the original plan.
  • Take both files and decide who owns the truth later.

And when none of the options say what you actually want to do, write your own action — the story responds to it just the same.
