Sun's Wheel

“Hades has stolen Apollo's chariot wheel, and the sun hangs frozen in the sky.”
The premise
The sun has stopped moving, caught in a dim and breathless twilight while fields wither and temple fires burn cold. Hades has taken the wheel from Apollo's chariot, and every hour without dawn pushes the mortal world closer to ruin.
Play as a devoted servant of Apollo sent toward the Underworld with only faith, lore, and a few sacred offerings. The path is not simply to steal back a divine relic — you must decide who to trust, what price to pay, and whether the gods are telling you the whole truth.
Who you are
As a child, you witnessed Apollo's radiant descent and devoted your life to his temple. You studied divine lore, learned the old hymns and warnings, and swore to serve the light even when gods and mortals alike turned afraid. Now the temple looks to you because your faith is strong enough to enter darkness, and your knowledge may be the only thing that keeps you alive there.
Your objective
Journey to the Underworld, recover Apollo's stolen chariot wheel, and restore the sun's course before the mortal world fails under endless twilight.
The kind of choices you'll face
A few illustrative examples — in play, choices are written for the exact situation you're in:
- Observe the worried townsfolk for signs of what the frozen sun is doing to them.
- Inspect the dimming temple altar and the bronze chariot relief.
- Listen carefully to the priest's words before accepting the descent.
And when none of the options say what you actually want to do, write your own action — the story responds to it just the same.
