The premise
You sneaked into Lady Vestra’s masked inheritance party for free food, but the entire room mistakes you for the Honored Arbitrator — the one person allowed to decide who inherits the mansion, who gets disowned, and who may be poisoned before dessert.
Everyone is too polite to admit they do not know what the Arbitrator looks like. The real guest is missing, the password is due immediately, and the blank silver invitation in your hand keeps getting warmer whenever someone lies.
Bluff, snoop, confess, or weaponize etiquette long enough to find the real Arbitrator and survive a party where every bad lie earns applause before it becomes evidence.
Who you are
You are a charming opportunist with an excellent eye for exits, snacks, and social gaps wide enough to slip through. You grew up learning that confidence opens doors more reliably than keys, but you are not cruel: when a harmless prank starts endangering real people, guilt tends to arrive slightly before common sense.
Your objective
Maintain your mistaken identity long enough to learn what the Arbitrator is supposed to decide, locate the real guest, and prevent the inheritance ritual from becoming murder without being exposed as an uninvited appetizer thief.
